[New Lineup] Indoor doors that create a "noiseless space" by eliminating lines and steps.
In recent years, while the size of residential spaces has been shrinking, there has been a growing demand from architects and designers for designs that "reduce lines as much as possible." However, designing spaces to appear clean and spacious by making door heights reach the ceiling or by minimizing the visibility of frames has posed challenges that require high skill levels from carpenters and significant construction time when attempted with conventional on-site construction methods.
Against this backdrop, this year's Dretas has developed doors and storage fixtures that do not reveal frames, with the concept of "creating a noise-free space with empty space."
■ Base Frame (Fixtures)
The structure hides the frame within the wall, achieving a refined design without the frame being visible from either side. It features a specially designed frame and concealed hinges that allow for 180-degree opening and closing. Frame widths (132mm, 147mm, 183mm) are set to accommodate wall thickness, eliminating the need for frame processing and supporting smooth installation.
■ Outset Frame (Storage Fixtures)
The structure has the frame attached to the inside of the door, allowing the door and wall to fit flatly together. It can be configured for two or three panels, seamlessly blending even large wall storage into the space as if it were "just a wall." By using additional elements like the 3mm thick "Baseboard S-type," the installation becomes even more beautiful, enhancing the noise-free space.
