Urban Guard: Pile-type (Pile Foundation) Debris Flow and Driftwood Countermeasure Works for Non-Flowing Streams

Obtained "Construction Technology Review Certification." A pile structure that achieves a small installation area and shortened construction period. Initial installation costs are reduced, making it an economically advantageous countermeasure.

Urban Guard is suitable for debris flow and driftwood measures in non-flowing streams (small-scale streams). It is a construction method that excels in workability and contributes to shortening construction periods. The installation cost is low, and by performing stone removal and other maintenance after installation, it allows for repeated capture of debris flows and driftwood, thus keeping both initial and running costs down. It features a pile-type (pile foundation) structure, which minimizes changes to the riverbed ground and shortens the construction period. It is expected to be installed in sites requiring urgent safety measures with a short construction period. Additionally, it can be installed regardless of the foundation conditions or land acquisition in the upstream area since it does not use anchors in the upstream section. - Suitable for debris flow and driftwood measures in non-flowing streams (small-scale streams) - Pile-type (pile foundation) structure that achieves a small installation area and shortened construction period - Reduced initial installation costs, making it an economically advantageous measure - Capable of capturing repeated debris flows and driftwood - Adopts high-strength supports with excellent "ductility" function Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information System (NETIS) Registration Number: KT-210079-A Construction Technology Review Certificate: No. 1901 (General Incorporated Foundation, Sediment Disaster Prevention and Landslide Technology Center) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Collapse Soil Erosion Protection Fence "Slope Guard Fence Type LE"

Vertical erosion sediment control fence with excellent sediment capture performance and maintenance management.

The "Slope Guard Fence Type LE" is a vertical type of collapse debris protection fence designed to catch collapsing soil near roads or behind houses. It prevents the outflow of soil using panel-type wire nets and wire mesh installed between the support posts. Due to its pile foundation structure, where the posts are directly embedded into the ground, it can be installed in various locations, including sites with limited space or on slopes. By adjusting the height of the fence, it is possible to secure pocket capacity for soil accumulation, minimizing alterations to the slope. It can withstand rockfall energy up to 318 kJ, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. ■ Measures against collapsing soil near roads and behind houses ■ Vertical protection fence with pile foundation structure ■ Structure considering soil impact force and accumulated soil pressure Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information Provision System (NETIS) Registration Number: HR-100008-VR *Registration period has ended "Evaluation Promotion Technology (New Technology Utilization System Study Meeting (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism))" *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Rockfall protection reinforced soil wall "Geolock Wall"

A reinforced soil wall with a proven track record of absorbing large-scale impacts using reinforced soil.

The "Geo-Lock Wall" is a reinforced earth wall designed to absorb falling rocks, landslides, and collapsing soil, primarily along roadsides and behind residential houses. It can withstand rockfall energy of up to 5500 kJ and is utilized for a wide range of rockfall countermeasures from small to large scale. It primarily uses soil and geosynthetics as materials. Due to the unique flexible structure of soil structures, it efficiently absorbs impacts and can handle large-scale impact energy. Because it is a soil structure, it can be installed in various terrains, including sites with limited installation space, sites with vertical gradients, and sites with valley topography. Additionally, it does not transmit impact forces to the supporting ground, so in most cases, ground improvement treatments are not necessary. ■ Rockfall, landslide, and collapsing soil countermeasures using reinforced earth ■ Capable of withstanding rockfall energy up to 5500 kJ ■ Available in three types according to the scale of rockfall ■ Over 540 adoption records nationwide Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism New Technology Information System (NETIS) Registration Number: HR-990009-V *Registration period has ended NETIS Fiscal Year 2016 Semi-Recommendation Technology *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Towards an Era Where the Environmental Value of Products Becomes a Competitive Advantage - From CFP Calculation to Environmental Labeling, CBAM Compliance, and ISCC Certification.

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

Decarbonization is currently shifting its positioning from "cost management" to "enhancing competitiveness," and we are entering an era where mere regulatory compliance is no longer sufficient. With the strengthening of sustainability labeling regulations and the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the environmental value of products has transcended corporate responsibility and become a crucial element in market competition. On the other hand, many companies are facing challenges such as: - The complexity of CFP calculation and environmental labeling requirements makes it difficult to know how to proceed. - How to balance regulatory compliance with enhancing competitiveness (differentiation). - Difficulty in prioritizing ISCC certification and CBAM compliance. In this seminar, we will invite Wastebox Co., Ltd., which has extensive consulting experience in the environmental field, to introduce ideas and specific examples on how to connect responses to decarbonization and the circular economy to business growth from both "offensive" and "defensive" perspectives. ■ Part 1: "Understanding the Environmental Value of Products from Offensive and Defensive Perspectives: How to Leverage Decarbonization and the Circular Economy for Differentiation and Regulatory Compliance" ■ Part 2: "Why Are We Entering an Era of Product Environmental Value Now? (Tentative Title)" ■ Part 3: "Introduction of Services Supporting the Reliability of Product Environmental Value"
