We welcomed an administrative inspection from the Niigata Prefectural Assembly's Special Committee on Disaster Prevention and Carbon Neutral Society Development.

On January 20, 2025, Protec Engineering accepted an administrative inspection from the Niigata Prefectural Assembly's "Special Committee for Disaster Prevention and Carbon Neutral Society" at their request. During the visit, we provided explanations about the development of natural disaster countermeasure products such as rockfall protection fences, as well as guided them through our manufacturing facility and one of the largest disaster prevention experimental sites in Japan.
The Niigata Prefectural Assembly's "Special Committee for Disaster Prevention and Carbon Neutral Society" was established to investigate matters related to disaster prevention and mitigation measures, the promotion of land resilience, the strengthening of crisis management functions, and efforts towards realizing a carbon-neutral society, including the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the promotion of renewable and next-generation energy, in preparation for increasingly severe and frequent natural disasters and emerging infectious diseases.
On the day of the inspection, we welcomed Chairperson Jun Sato and 13 other committee members, along with local council member Yoshikazu Iwamura from the Kitakambara District. We explained our company's efforts in disaster prevention, focusing on product development. Afterward, by actually viewing the manufacturing site and the disaster prevention experimental facility used for impact testing of protective structures against rockfalls, the committee members were able to gain a deeper understanding of our initiatives.
