Speaking at the 'NEXT Kansai Innovation Meeting' on October 4th.

テムザック テムザック 本店・中央研究所
On October 4, 2024 (Friday), our Executive Director Junichi Setoguchi will speak at the "NEXT Kansai Innovation Meeting 2024 - 'Agriculture' x 'Future' -" hosted by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. Today, the aging of agricultural workers and the lack of successors are major factors contributing to the expansion of abandoned farmland, which has become a significant issue. This trend is particularly pronounced in hilly and mountainous areas. At Temzac, we are challenging the labor-saving of agriculture through "group robots" and aiming to build services that are "remote" and "require little effort" by utilizing robots. This time, under the title "Challenge to Suppress the Expansion of Abandoned Farmland through Agriculture with WORKROID," I will discuss our efforts toward labor-saving using robotic technology. We look forward to your participation. ■ Target Audience: Small and medium-sized enterprises, venture companies, mid-sized and large corporations, universities, research institutions, local governments, industrial support organizations / technical support organizations, financial institutions, and experts (lawyers, patent attorneys, etc.) interested in technology collaboration and open innovation based on seeds. ■ Organized by: Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Date and time Friday, Oct 04, 2024
01:30 PM ~ 05:00 PM
Capital Suntory World Research Center 8-1 Seikadai, Seika-cho, Soraku-gun, Kyoto Prefecture
Entry fee Free Capacity: 50 people (planned)

Announcement of the new "Raichou No. 1" sowing-compatible model.

A swarm of robots automatically sows seeds! Introducing work robots one after another to practice labor-saving agriculture.

Temzack Co., Ltd. is practicing rice direct seeding for rice flour in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, as part of its labor-saving agriculture initiative "WORKROID Agriculture" using robotic technology. To further streamline the seeding process, we have developed the new model "Raichou No. 1" (seeding-compatible model). This product is an agricultural robot that can automatically perform both seeding and weed control by changing attachments. Its compact size and ability to operate in groups allow it to work in conditions that are often abandoned, such as irregularly shaped land and small fields. 【Features】 ■ Autonomous navigation: Uses AI to identify areas where seeds have not been sown, enabling efficient seeding. ■ Compact and swarm operation: Suitable for irregularly shaped land and small fields, addressing challenging agricultural conditions. ■ Solar power energy: Saves on fuel costs and is environmentally friendly by not burning oil. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

You can enjoy rice flour dishes and sweets made with "robot-farmed rice" in Kyoto!

Collaboration between robots and food! Selling cookies, cakes, gratins, etc. made with thunder powder.

Temzac Co., Ltd., Le Nature, Igurek, and Takami Confectionery have started selling dishes and sweets made with rice flour "Raifuku," produced from robot-cultivated rice, from late January 2024. First harvest of WORKROID rice utilizing robot technology.

Effort-saving leads to a bountiful harvest! Significantly reduce labor hours in rice cultivation and achieve agriculture that doesn't stick to the land.

Temzack Co., Ltd. has conducted its first harvest at a field in Nobeoka City, Miyazaki Prefecture, where it is practicing "WORKROID Agriculture" using robotic technology. WORKROID Agriculture is a labor-saving farming method implemented by our company that can be undertaken even by those without agricultural experience. Despite significantly reducing the labor hours spent on rice cultivation compared to conventional agriculture, we successfully harvested nearly 400 kg per 10 ares of rice. This confirmed the potential to realize the goals of WORKROID Agriculture, such as "labor-saving" and "farming that does not stick to the land." [Future Prospects] - Establish a labor-saving agriculture system that can handle everything from rice cultivation for rice flour to the distribution of rice flour, and spread it nationwide. - Aim to stop the expansion of abandoned farmland and contribute to maintaining Japan's food self-sufficiency and food security. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Creating a 'just right' system for managing contractors and business partners.

"Just Right" Systematization of Contractor and Business Partner Management - Latest Trends in Supply Chain Risks and Key Points for Management and Evaluation Design

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

In recent years, in addition to cyberattacks targeting individual companies, there has been an increase in cyber incidents originating from third parties such as contractors and business partners. The impact of these incidents can often lead to a chain reaction resulting in business interruptions, information leaks, and brand damage, even without direct attacks on the company itself. Amidst this situation, we have received many inquiries from risk management and information security departments regarding: - Understanding the necessity of managing security risks of contractors, but lacking the capacity to do so - Having checklists and questionnaires, but updates and judgments are becoming overly reliant on individuals - Wanting to improve collaboration between contractors and responsible departments In this seminar, we will discuss the latest trends in supply chain risks for those in risk management and information security departments, explaining the importance of third-party risk management and key points for effective systematization. [Speaker] Tatsuya Seto, NRI Secure Technologies [Target Audience] - Personnel from risk management departments - Personnel from information security departments, CSIRT, and information systems departments - Individuals responsible for managing contractors and business partners - Personnel promoting supply chain risk management (TPRM)
