Geo Express Vol. 2 Preventing High Stopping of Piles! Reducing Bentonite Amount by 30%!! ~ Ready-Made Pile Drilling Agent "Pile Gel" ~

This time, we would like to introduce "Pile Gel," which prevents the high stopping of piles during pile driving work (pre-boring method). Until now, after excavation, the hole walls were unstable, leading to ground collapse, accumulation at the bottom of the hole, and the occurrence of high stopping of piles. "Pile Gel" can prevent collapse and suppress high stopping of piles simply by adding a small amount to the existing drilling fluid!
We will present experimental examples to see if using Pile Gel really makes it less likely to collapse.
1. When excavating only with bentonite
The hole walls stabilize with bentonite at 60 kg/m3.
2. When using Pile Gel
By adding just 0.05 kg/m3 of Pile Gel to bentonite at 40 kg/m3, collapse can be suppressed.
As you can see, adding Pile Gel improves hole wall stability, allowing for the suppression of ground collapse with less bentonite.
With less bentonite... that's right!
As shown in the experiment, to suppress collapse, 60 kg/m3 of bentonite was previously necessary, but by using Pile Gel, it can be reduced to 40 kg/m3. This results in a 30% reduction in bentonite usage.
