Daitec completes its second data center in Japan.
■Overview of the Second Data Center
In light of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in 2024, awareness of disasters has once again heightened, and efforts towards business continuity during such events have become increasingly necessary. The newly completed data center is located in an area with solid ground, and we promise stable service provision through the latest disaster measures and security systems.
■Disaster Measures
We have adopted a seismic isolation structure, ensuring power supply from an uninterruptible power supply and emergency generators during disasters. Additionally, the first and second data centers are connected via dedicated lines, enabling high-speed data backup and preparing for business continuity in emergencies. Furthermore, we have implemented flood prevention measures, such as placing server racks and critical equipment on the second floor or higher to guard against river flooding and other water-related disasters.
■Communication Environment
We have constructed multiple access lines from different power companies, ensuring rapid data access and stability.
■Security System
We employ multi-factor authentication for entry and exit. The interior is continuously monitored remotely, ensuring the highest level of security. We have also obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification, which is the international standard for information security management systems.
