A twin-screw extruder used to enhance the added value of plastic raw materials is referred to as a compounding extruder. Our company manufactures the "TEX" series of twin-screw extruders to meet the demands for high performance and high quality. The TEX is utilized not only for traditional inorganic fillers, masterbatch compounds, polymer alloys, and GF/CF compounds but also for a wide range of applications including reactions, degassing, dehydration, biomass compounds, long fiber compounding, and supercritical carbon dioxide compounding. By incorporating JSW's unique technologies that dramatically improve compounding performance (compounding screws, compounding cylinders, high-distribution compounding screws) and new solutions for increased discharge capacity (Side Feed Deaerator), we guide our customers into new realms that traditional machines could not achieve.

The "TEX25 αIII" is a high-spec compact twin-screw extruder equipped with features such as ultra-high torque, temperature control sections for each cylinder (1-by-1 correspondence), and wear-resistant screws. With the standard simulation software "TEX-FAN," it is possible to analyze internal pressure, temperature, residence time, and filling rate. By quantitatively evaluating the mixing performance of the extruder, it supports process development. This is an introduction to our continuous chemical recycling technology for plastics, utilizing our twin-screw extruder 'TEX' and associated equipment. The raw materials are continuously decomposed through shear heating by the extruder's screw and heat transfer from the cylinder heater. We have developed a recycling technology for cross-linked plastics and cross-linked rubber, which previously had no treatment methods other than incineration for heat energy recovery or landfill, using "TEX." By equipping the system with a screen changer at the front, we can filter out the waste mixed with the crushed material. Additionally, the filter can be easily replaced during operation, allowing for continuous operation. Recycled paper is mainly mentioned as a form of old paper recycling, but there are other uses for old paper, such as cushioning materials and packaging made by blending old paper with plastics, as well as various containers. The blending of old paper and plastics is one of the technologies that should be established urgently from an environmental protection perspective. In the recycling of old paper using an extruder, the various forms of old paper and their low bulk density lead to poor feedability into the extruder. Additionally, since paper is fibrous, it tends to tangle easily, making it a significant challenge to evenly disperse it into the molten plastics. We have newly added the "RB Catcher," a log capture device installed on impermeable sediment control dams in flow sections, to our product lineup and have started sales. The RB Catcher is directly attached to the upstream part of the impermeable sediment control dam to enhance log capture functionality. Unlike the conventional straight arrangement, it features a structural layout that creates gaps between units, ensuring that water flow is maintained without causing blockages after capturing logs. This allows for the reliable capture of subsequent logs without overflow, preventing damage downstream. By adding this new log capture device to our lineup, we will flexibly respond to various needs in the field.
