From design to manufacturing. How to transform "monozukuri" with seamless data integration.

The manufacturing industry in New Japan has not been able to achieve true "productivity improvement" for decades. Additionally, it has not been able to solve issues such as "early talent development" and "skill inheritance." We believe that if things continue this way, not only will we be unable to compete with the world, but we will also be left behind. Even with the introduction of 3D CAD and CAM, which should enable "productivity improvement," why is there no change? We would like to share our thoughts at Kodama on the problems faced by Japan's manufacturing industry and how we should confront these issues. At Kodama, as a CAD/CAM vendor for over 30 years, we have been supporting our customers in achieving optimal factory management. We have also introduced 5-axis and multi-tasking machines and have been operating a prototype factory for 10 years. An international forum aimed at promoting the circular economy and closed-loop economy, "Closed Loop Recycle Forum 2025 (hereinafter referred to as CLRF2025)," will be held for two days from November 25 (Tuesday) to 26 (Wednesday) at The Oriental Terrace in Chuo Ward, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In Europe, closed-loop recycling practices are already advancing. A total of 12 speakers, including Chairman Kajiwara of the Waste and 3R Research Foundation and Director Kaneko of the Ministry of the Environment's Container and Packaging Recycling Division, along with leading recycling operators and researchers from Japan and Europe, will present advanced examples of the circular economy and closed-loop economy. Furthermore, through discussions on the feasibility and challenges of implementation in Japan, we will explore hints for sustainable business models that companies and local governments should aim for.

The "Wallet Key," which brings a major innovation to the hotel key situation that has undergone several generations of changes, including cylinder locks, magnetic locks, contactless card locks, and mobile keys, has finally been born.
