World's First! * Hydraulic Double Valve - HBB Series - Introduction of Performance Level 'e' Certification (*According to our research)

Recently, Ross Controls, a manufacturer of hydraulic double valves, has obtained certification for performance level "e" from the German statutory accident insurance organization (DGUV) for its HBB series hydraulic double valve.
This hydraulic double valve (HBB series) safely and reliably performs "primary side pressure cutoff & secondary side pressure tank return," enabling efficient safety assurance for operators during maintenance of hydraulic machinery and equipment.
★Main Features★
- 3-way valve / 2-position, normally closed
- Redundant (dual) structure of the switching valve
- Built-in sensors can output the opening and closing status of the two valves
Thanks to the redundant (dual) structure, even if one valve fails, the other valve will function to ensure safety. Additionally, since the opening and closing status of the valve can be output, remote monitoring of the valve's condition is possible.
*Ross Controls (USA) is a long-established manufacturer of hydraulic and pneumatic safety valves that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021.

Risk assessment needs to consider not only operations but also maintenance and adjustment scenarios. In addition to electricity, "oil and pneumatic energy" is widely used, and a risk assessment that takes all forms of energy into account is required.
