■ Miniaturization of automotive electronic devices
In recent years, automobiles have seen an increase in power consumption due to the high functionality, integration, and multi-functionality of electronic control units (ECUs). The reverse connection protection and reverse current prevention elements at the ECU input have been hindered by increased heat generation due to rising current, complicating heat dissipation measures and miniaturization.
This product, which integrates a Pch MOSFET with reverse connection protection and reverse current prevention circuits, achieves a 55% reduction in conduction loss, a 37% reduction in temperature rise, and a 75% reduction in mounting area compared to conventional diodes. This contributes to the miniaturization and low-loss requirements of devices needing reverse connection and reverse current protection, such as automotive products, as well as output ORing applications.
