Automation is possible. The AAK405, 505, and 605 series can be selected from three types according to motor output and maximum pressing force levels. It supports all types of polishing, from single action to double action and polishing using paper. A paper changer is also available. This technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) generated during polishing and grinding processes that require skilled techniques, allowing for consistent polishing/grinding at the set pressing force regardless of high processing speeds or variations in gravitational load due to angles. With the end effector (ACF) using ACT technology, it maintains constant contact with the workpiece at the set force by instantly adjusting the stroke length to accommodate changes in dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces. This technology can increase the speed of the device or robot's trajectory, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle time. Furthermore, it automatically corrects tool load variations caused by gravity changes due to the robot's angle, ensuring uniform pressing pressure from any angle, enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.

Complete automation of polishing work with pressing force self-regulation high-speed correction + auto tool changer.

Weld bead removal and complete automation from rough cutting to finishing polishing can be achieved with a single machine. With the integration of a tool exchange system and high-speed autonomous pressure correction technology, full automation is possible!

Equipped with an auto tool changer function, the pressing force high-speed autonomous correction technology achieves a reduction in cycle time for skilled operations and complete automation of high-quality finishing. Using ACT technology, the end effector autonomously corrects the force applied to the workpiece in response to variations in dimensions and warping by adjusting the stroke instantaneously, maintaining contact with the set force. Additionally, gravity compensation is performed autonomously, ensuring a consistent pressing force from any angle, and allowing for easy settings to maintain finishing quality on R-shaped workpieces. This technology enables the robot to maintain a constant contact force even when increasing the trajectory speed, improving cycle time and achieving high-quality finishing with high repeatability. Furthermore, automation allows for increased pressing force and reduces the frequency of changing abrasive grits by maintaining a consistent force, significantly contributing to the extension of abrasive lifespan and reduction of running costs. The tool holder accommodates almost all types of polishing tools, from grinders to double-action sanders and brushing tools. It also allows for control of motor rotation speed in 10 rpm increments, broadening the scope of automation in polishing tasks. Additionally, it supports an auto paper changer.

A-scan ultrasonic thickness gauge CMX10-DL

The A-scan (A-scope) ultrasonic thickness gauge 'CMX10-DL' will be available for sale starting June 15.

  • NEW
  • PRODUCT

Dakota Japan Co., Ltd., which specializes in the sale of ultrasonic testing equipment such as ultrasonic thickness gauges, flaw detectors, and axial force gauges, will begin selling its new product, the A-scan ultrasonic thickness gauge 'CMX10-DL', starting June 15. The 'CMX10-DL' is a versatile A-scan ultrasonic thickness gauge that caters to a wide range of applications, from corrosion inspection to high-precision thickness measurement. It supports the measurement of remaining wall thickness in tanks and pipes, substrate thickness measurement over coatings, as well as the measurement of lining materials, composite materials, and clad materials, including precision thickness measurements requiring a resolution of 0.001mm. The CMX10-DL not only saves echo waveforms and measurement values but also supports echo recording for up to 10 seconds. This allows for the recording of instantaneous thickness changes or waveform changes during measurement, thereby streamlining the verification of inspection results and report generation. Additionally, with TCG (Time Corrected Gain), BEA (Bottom Echo Monitoring), and B-scope (B-scan), it supports reliable measurements even for challenging targets such as composite materials, clad materials, and localized corrosion, where waveform judgment can be difficult.
