SecureEyeII is developed based on the Retina-Morphic Processing algorithm created by the British company Apical, which mimics the principles of the retina. Developed from research on the human visual system (HVS), including the eye, optic nerve, and brain, iridix models the method by which the retina adjusts the dynamic range of images, achieving unprecedented correction effects. Traditional gamma-based dynamic range correction applies a nonlinear curve uniformly across the entire original image, resulting in loss of gradation and affecting color intensity. In contrast, iridix applies separate curves for each pixel, changing only the luminance levels without altering the color intensity.

The "SecureEye-1080HD" features a 1920x1080 compatible CCD sensor and supports 10Bits HD-SDI 1080/59.94i output. With the incorporation of "iridix" technology, which applies the principles of human retinal recognition to capture a wide range from dark to highlight areas, this groundbreaking full HD wide dynamic range information camera resolves issues that traditional wide dynamic range cameras struggle with, such as fast-moving subjects and the problem of images appearing washed out, making detailed information hard to see.
