UV-curable resins are used in various manufacturing processes, ranging from electronic devices and automotive parts to high-performance films and camera lenses. How is the curing evaluation conducted? Is one unit out of a thousand subjected to destructive testing? Are good products sampled for inspection? For example, if good product sampling is conducted and one unit out of every hundred is inspected from a production of ten million units, it would result in the disposal of one hundred thousand units on one line. Additionally, if curing defects are found, all products from that line would be discarded. Curea is a device that eliminates production loss and significantly reduces costs by conducting 100% inspection through inline testing. This time, I will discuss how to utilize this product.

In February 2019, a shrinkage measurement method using a resin curing shrinkage stress measurement device was established as a JIS standard. We will hold a seminar at our Tokyo showroom on the continuous measurement method for the shrinkage of UV-curable and thermosetting resins. It is scheduled for June and early July. In February 2019, we opened a new showroom in Tokyo (10th floor, J Thanks Daiichi Building, 3-1-8 Iwamotocho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). We have installed actual machines of our main products, including the UV curing sensor Curea, surface modification sensor Caisits, resin curing shrinkage stress measurement device Custron, UV LED irradiation device, and tensile testing machine Stency, and demonstrations are also possible. The release of software for the UV curing sensor Curea and the surface modification sensor Caisits has been decided. Recently, AcroEdge has utilized the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's "New Market Creation Standardization System" to establish a measurement method using our device, the Custron (Castron), which measures the shrinkage stress of resin curing, as the JIS standard JIS K 6941. Our company develops, manufactures, and sells the device 'Custron' that evaluates changes in the curing state of UV-curable and thermosetting resins. It is a device that continuously measures the shrinkage rate and shrinkage stress of materials such as fats and thermosetting resins, allowing us to observe their behavior. Measurements can be taken with a small sample size, and we supply it to customers including universities and research institutions.
