The KE-0500 series is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for industrial machinery, providing a 3-phase AC 200V 5KVA pure sine wave output. The energy storage device can be selected as either an EDLC or a lithium-ion battery. Backup with EDLC is useful for short durations, such as during the time it takes for machinery to complete its normal operation or until a generator starts up. Additionally, it can provide backup in low-temperature environments, such as below zero, where conventional batteries would not operate, which is an attractive feature. Backup with lithium-ion batteries is useful for long-duration system power backup. The basic configuration provides 60 minutes of backup, but by expanding the battery, several hours of backup is also possible.
