After performing thermal spraying in an unmanned booth, there is a need to determine whether personnel can enter based on the dust concentration. Here, we introduce a case where safety measures were implemented using a dust measurement device, the Air Dust Monitor. <Challenges Before Implementation> 1) The decision on whether to allow entry is made individually, and it is possible to enter even during dust generation, raising concerns about potential health hazards. 2) Entering the booth during film formation can disrupt the uniformity of the film thickness due to the inflow of air, which may lead to quality defects. Therefore, we propose the Air Dust Monitor, which can monitor the dust conditions in the booth!! For more details, please refer to the related link URL.

Free membership registrationWe will introduce a case of implementing an air particle monitor into the control panel of a tunnel boring machine. Dust generated during tunnel excavation can enter the control panel of the boring machine, leading to inverter failures. <On-site Challenges> 1) It is unclear when and from where dust will enter the control panel. 2) If the inverter fails, it incurs costs and delays recovery due to extended lead times. The "air particle monitor" solves these concerns! For more details, please refer to the related link URL.

Free membership registration■Challenges of Thickener Equipment We often hear from customers that they want to monitor the concentrated sludge that accumulates at the bottom of the thickener. However, since the sludge accumulates in the liquid, they are troubled by not knowing how to monitor it or what kind of measuring instruments to use... If the accumulated sludge cannot be measured... ● The quality of the treated water deteriorates, making reuse difficult. ● The rake experiences increased load and wears out. We want to find a way to solve these challenges! The solution to such concerns is the "Sounding Level Meter (Weight-Type Level Meter)." The sounding level meter (Sounding M's) suspends a detection weight at the end of a wire, and by moving the weight up and down, it detects the distance to the accumulated material. The weight reliably detects the accumulated sludge without being affected by the resistance of the water.

Free membership registrationIn the manufacturing process of secondary batteries, dust collectors are installed due to the handling of powders, and materials that leak during work are collected. If the dust collector is functioning properly, collection can be ensured without major issues. However, if the filter deteriorates or wears out, a large amount of material can leak from the tears. This results in the inability to recover expensive materials, leading to significant losses. So, what measures can be taken? A dust monitor is installed on the secondary side of the dust collector (the atmospheric discharge side) to quickly detect raw materials leaking from deteriorated or worn filters, minimizing damage.

Free membership registrationDust generated at work sites and dust collectors can affect the health of workers and nearby residents when inhaled. I believe that factories where dust is generated often use external organizations for regular measurements. However, regular dust measurements can make it difficult to quickly notice dust leaks, which may negatively impact the work environment and surrounding areas. Matsushima Majatech offers dust monitors that monitor dust concentration after dust collection and air dust monitors that monitor dust concentration in low airflow environments, both outdoors and indoors. By quantifying dust concentration in various situations and monitoring it 24/7, we contribute to the following: ● Prevention of health hazards ● Reduction of maintenance burdens ● Cost reduction 【Product Introduction】 - Dust Monitor - Air Dust Monitor - Air Particle Monitor

Free membership registrationThis document addresses the challenge of "balancing production efficiency and environmental measures" and presents the effectiveness of continuous dust monitoring. In recent years, environmental issues have become increasingly severe, and dust in exhaust emissions from factories is one of them. Companies are likely more pressed than ever to respond with manual analysis monitoring and preventive maintenance after dust collection. For businesses, improving production efficiency is also a crucial requirement, and if environmental measures become a significant burden, it would be counterproductive. This document introduces the current challenges and their solutions, as well as the types and features of automatic dust concentration measuring instruments. [Contents (excerpt)] - Increasing scrutiny on environmental issues - What measures are being implemented? - Current challenges - Solutions - Types and characteristics of automatic dust concentration measuring instruments, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIssue At a certain manufacturer's factory, due to installation errors and deterioration after the replacement of the dust collector filter, over 9 tons of raw materials were leaking from all the dust collectors every month. This resulted in a loss of approximately 27 million yen per month for the company, along with concerns about air pollution. Just thinking about how much sales would be needed to generate such profits is a waste, isn't it? Therefore, the installation of a dust meter to continuously monitor the leakage amount was required.

Free membership registrationInstrumentation equipment is essential for the control and monitoring of plants. However, actual sites often cannot avoid harsh environments, which can affect lifespan and lead to sudden failures. Our level gauges are no exception. Therefore, we recommend conducting preventive maintenance (regular inspections) to check the health of the level gauges in advance and prepare accordingly. The lifespan of a level gauge is influenced by the lifespan of its electronic components, typically around 8 to 10 years. However, the actual lifespan can vary, with some lasting over 15 years and others less than 5 years. This seems to be influenced by the following installation environments. 【Influential Installation Environments】 ■ Intense sunlight ■ Salt damage and corrosive gases ■ Severe vibrations and continuous vibrations ■ Strong noise *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
