What is the purpose of honing one's skills...?
Our company specializes in electroforming of nickel and copper, and we are currently developing stainless steel electroforming as a new initiative. Electroforming involves thickly depositing nickel (5 to 10,000 microns) onto master molds made of round bars, wires, plastics, etc., and then stripping the mold to create precise pipes and components. Since the mold is transferred at a sub-micron level, it is suitable for applications requiring high precision in roundness, inner diameter accuracy, and surface roughness. The hardness of the material is typically around 550 to 600 HV (about three times that of stainless steel), but hardness of around 250 HV is also possible. We also accept orders for plating on plastics and for electroformed products in gold, silver, rhodium, and platinum, both inside and outside diameters. We can create prototypes starting from a single piece, so please feel free to contact us.
