The new technology of dry magnetic separation method, "DME method," is a technique that extracts and purifies heavy metals from low-concentration heavy metal-contaminated soil using magnetic force. The soil after the extraction of heavy metals can be reused as purified soil that meets environmental standards. Additionally, since this method does not use water, there is no need for wastewater treatment facilities, and the system is easy to operate, achieving significant cost reductions compared to conventional soil washing methods.
