In the accident at Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, equipment from Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises will be used in June for the treatment of contaminated water containing high concentrations of radioactive substances (radioactivity), which has become the biggest obstacle to recovery efforts. While the treatment of contaminated water mainly relies on equipment from Western companies such as France's Areva, NSP (Tokyo), which specializes in water treatment, will provide an oil separation device equipped with its own technology. Carrying the "Hinomaru" (the Japanese flag), they are taking on the greatest challenge in the recovery of the nuclear power plant.

To prevent the outflow of highly radioactive stagnant water that has accumulated in the turbine building and other areas, we began construction to install equipment to treat the stagnant water that has been transferred and stored in the centralized waste treatment building, with the aim of using it as injection water for the reactor. The installation of the main equipment has been completed, and we are aiming to start processing in mid-June.
