The "Knit Fence" is a collaborative product developed through a partnership between Kinki University’s Department of Cultural Design, Kyowa Steel Co., Ltd., and Nippon Kasen Co., Ltd. It is a newly redesigned fence that is suitable for the current era, taking into account design, structure, construction, and safety aspects. In terms of design, it allows for customization of the colors of the frame and wire mesh from six different options, enabling the creation of diverse landscapes that match the installation environment. With a vertically elongated mesh that prevents children from climbing, it features a structure that also considers safety, making it an ideal fence for places where people gather, such as schools, kindergartens, parks, and residential areas.
