The "Enet-HDLC/PLL Series" is an Ethernet/HDLC (LAP-B) protocol converter that enables network communication for independently synchronized HDLC (LAP-B) devices. It features an integrated PLL, making it a higher model in the Enet-HDLC series, and the entire protocol stack is developed in-house. Additionally, it incorporates both LAP-B and TCP/IP protocols, allowing HDLC (LAP-B) devices to communicate over a network with UNIX machines and others through this series. 【Features】 ■ Built-in switching power supply (AC 100-240V) model ■ Operates in asynchronous balanced mode (ABM) with LAP-B procedure class ■ Ethernet side comes standard with TCP/IP and ARP ■ Communication settings and conditions can be configured interactively using the HDLC channel as an asynchronous serial ■ Ethernet channel is standard equipped with 10/100Base (automatic switching) *For more details, please refer to the PDF documentation or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration◆It is possible to extend the distance between RS232C devices up to 1200m. It is also used for converting signal levels between a computer's RS232C and measuring instruments' RS422. ◆The RS232C side connector is a D-sub 9-pin female (DCE configuration) that can be directly connected to the D-sub 9-pin male RS232C port of IBM-compatible DOS/V machines. ◆The RS422 side connector is a compact 5-pin terminal block designed for easy cable installation. ◆A surge absorption chip protection circuit is built into the RS422 side. ◆As a sister model, there is also an RS232/RS485 converter [RS485/N].

Free membership registration■ In addition to one-to-one communication, one-to-n and n-to-m communication are also possible. ■ The [DL-1200R] can achieve wireless transmission over a maximum distance of 1 km (line of sight). Additionally, compared to SS wireless, it may be able to communicate by circumventing obstacles. ■ Once the ID and communication conditions for each device are set, they are stored in FLASH memory and operate under those conditions each time they are powered on. ■ It is equipped with a function to test the wireless communication status, allowing for verification during installation. ■ It has obtained technical standards conformity certification.

Free membership registration◆The Ethernet side communication protocol comes standard with TCP/IP, UDP, and TELNET, and the network-side communication partner devices communicate with [Enet-100R2] using TCP and UDP sockets. ◆It is equipped with automatic recognition and switching functions for 100/10Mbps, full duplex/half duplex, allowing for flexible system construction. ◆The opening/closing of network connections can be performed from either the [Enet-100R2] side or the host side. Incoming data during an open connection is sent to the network partner device in packet units, and only the data portion of packets from the network partner device is sent to RS232C. ◆Communication conditions, Ethernet-related addresses, etc., can be interactively set in program mode. These condition settings are stored in FLASH ROM. Settings can be made using a terminal software and a computer's RS232C or via TELNET LOGIN. Additionally, with the incorporation of FLASH ROM, online firmware version upgrades are also possible.

Free membership registrationThe LAP-B protocol embedded in [Enet-HDLC] is a subset that adds features 2 and 8 to the basic functions of HDLC's BAC. [Enet-HDLC] operates in Asynchronous Balanced Mode (ABM), and the procedure class functions with LAP-B. The commands and responses supported by [Enet-HDLC] are as follows: Commands: I, RR, RNR, SABM, DISC Responses: RR, RNR, FRMR, UA, DM

Free membership registration◆ The communication conditions for the serial channel and the settings for various addresses of the Ethernet channel are configured once in program mode and stored in flash ROM. ◆ Protocols that are appropriately configured can communicate without the need for complex procedures that take the other protocol into account. ◆ The storage of various setting conditions to flash ROM is done using either synchronous RS232C or TELNET LOGIN. ◆ The serial channel side has an input buffer of 96k bytes and an output buffer of 96k bytes, allowing for synchronization of different communication procedures. ◆ The Ethernet channel supports 10Base-T and 100Base-TX as standard (automatic recognition).
