Since its establishment in 1953, SUMITA has been engaged in the world of light and glass as one of the few expert companies in this field. Since the 1960s, we have pursued our own optical fiber technology. Furthermore, we consistently produce everything from raw materials to final products, and there are very few companies globally that can mass-produce glass optical fibers at a scale of up to 700,000 km per month.
