The separation of hazardous materials can be performed fully automatically. ■The cake (crystals) scraped by the scraping device is collected in an annular groove (recess) provided at the bottom of the basket, and is sucked out and discharged through a pipe inserted into the groove, and is transported directly to a container or dryer. ■The discharge pipe for the cake is a straight pipe, and its opening faces the bottom of the basket. Therefore, mist and other substances from the feed liquid do not enter the pipe, making cleaning easy, allowing for the collection of clean crystals without contamination of the product. ■If the amount of cake scraped by the scraping device exceeds the amount discharged through the suction pipe, the pipe opening will become buried in the crystals.
