To quickly search for accurate information tailored to specific purposes, excellent tools are necessary. Since our founding in 1965, we have consistently collected and organized information on literature, individuals, events, and terminology, while accumulating vast amounts of this information as digital content and providing it according to the characteristics of various media. Initially, our information provision focused on publications such as bibliographies, indexes, dictionaries, and encyclopedias in print media. However, with the advancement of information technology, we launched the online information service "NICHIGAI ASSIST" in 1986. In line with the emergence of new media like CD-ROMs, we have also actively engaged in creating tools in the form of electronic publishing. Furthermore, we started the information provision service "NICHIGAI/WEB Service" in 1997, which operates on a flat-rate fee system over the internet. We believe that the accumulation of intellectual information is one of the social assets, and we are advancing our tool development with this recognition. Moving forward, we aim to minimize subjective judgments and assertions, striving to "record information" and dedicate ourselves to creating reliable tools and information services.
