By heating the plate glass as uniformly as possible to a temperature near the softening point (600-630°C) and then rapidly cooling it uniformly outside the furnace, tensile stress is generated, which in turn induces compressive stress in the surface, resulting in strengthening. They are not heat-resistant glass, so they cannot be heated, but they can be used sufficiently as containers just like traditional reagent bottles.

Typically, capillary tubes made of borosilicate glass are common, and those made of soda glass are quite rare. However, we do have soda glass options available for capillaries with funnels. There are 18 standardized sizes with outer diameters ranging from 0.08mm to 5.0mm. Although these are imported, we usually have domestic stock available, except for the 0.08mm size. Typically, when it comes to capillary tubes made of glass, borosilicate glass is the standard material. However, quartz glass tubes tend to be very expensive and often require a long lead time for production. We offer quartz glass capillaries with funnels in 17 standardized sizes ranging from an outer diameter of 0.1mm to 5.0mm, making them affordable. Although they are imported (made in Germany), we usually have domestic stock available. (Please note that there may be instances of stock shortages, so lead times should be confirmed.)

Recently, they have also been frequently used as containers for distributing samples of perfumes and other products. Until now, we have only sold transparent ones, but we have started receiving frequent requests for light-blocking aroma tubes, so we have decided to sell brown aroma tubes.
