Reviving Japanese electronics.

The hollowing out of technology and the decline in profit margins of major Japanese electronics manufacturers due to digitalization and intensified competition are progressing, leading to a rapid consolidation of these companies. In particular, the focus on cost reduction through low-cost management has neglected talent development and continued reliance on outsourcing, resulting in a continuous shortage of skilled personnel. Additionally, the status of design engineers in Japan is low (compared to lawyers in the U.S. and elsewhere), and even excellent students who have studied specialized fields and joined major manufacturers are quickly shifted to management roles after only 2 to 3 years of actual design work. As globalization advances and the rise of Asia (BRICS) makes it difficult to escape this negative spiral, we aim to revive and resurrect the "Electronics Nation Japan," which was once a sensation in the 1980s. "Design Development Anything .COM" seeks to enhance the value of Japan's electronics industry, which is currently in decline, ultimately connecting across industries, genres, and regions to weave together LSI and embedded system design and development companies, the core of electronics, at a national level. We will ensure the connection of skills and craftsmanship, industry and academia, and seeds and needs, while striving for the "restoration of inventors and design development engineers."
