The history of EAO, which began in 1947 in Olten, Switzerland. The company started with the production of transformers. We gained high recognition in 1958 for developing the world's first illuminated pushbutton switch. In 1965, we developed the 16mmφ type, which was the first EAO product delivered to Japan. Since then, our products have been adopted in Japan and countries around the world for equipment requiring safety and reliability. In 1997, we established EAO Japan Co., Ltd., creating a system to respond carefully to the needs of our customers in Japan.
