Kyushu Electric Power Company, Incorporated was established in 1951 and primarily engages in electricity generation and retail business in Japan. In addition to nuclear, thermal, and hydro power, it generates electricity using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, and biomass, selling electricity to both businesses and individuals. With the liberalization of the electricity market, it also sells gas and electricity outside the Kyushu region. Furthermore, in addition to its energy business, it provides leasing services for all-electric appliances, EV car-sharing services, drone aerial photography services, salmon farming, and cable diagnostic services for corporations.
