Soil cement for erosion control was developed to effectively utilize local soil and sand in the promotion of erosion control projects. It refers to a material produced by mixing local soil and sand with cement, solidifying agents, and water at the construction site. Its characteristic is not a formulation aimed at increasing density, but rather a formulation (sand, cement, solidifying agents, water) that activates the hydration reaction of cement, resulting in a compressive strength exceeding 2,000 kN/m². Why does it harden!? The reason soil cement for erosion control hardens is that the "components" that make up the cement react with water to generate various hydration products. This is called the "hydration reaction." It has been confirmed that the strength of soil cement for erosion control increases over decades.
