Insulating buildings can reduce CO2 emissions from heating and cooling equipment. Shirokuma panels are available in standard thicknesses of 75mm and 100mm, contributing to the reduction of fossil fuel consumption related to heating and cooling due to their high insulation performance. While conventional insulation materials lose their insulating performance after about three years, Shirokuma panels have been confirmed to maintain their insulation performance for over 200 years. Additionally, by utilizing them as "formwork-compatible insulation materials," both the formwork process and insulation installation can be carried out simultaneously, contributing to a reduction in construction time (labor-saving). By simply changing the slab formwork, it achieves both "reduction in construction costs," "shortened construction periods," and "installation of slab insulation." It contributes to countering rising prices, labor shortages, and energy conservation. Additionally, it is lightweight with high strength and workability, reducing the burden on workers. • Formwork material

The "Shirokuma Panel" uses a material (bead method polystyrene foam) with a thickness of 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm as standard specifications, which maintains its insulation performance for a long period, lasting over 200 years. By embedding 3mm of laminated wood with a thickness of 18mm into the insulation material, it possesses strength and rigidity, allowing for "formwork compatibility" in structural construction. Additionally, interior materials (such as plasterboard and plywood) can be directly screwed onto the laminated wood, improving work efficiency and contributing to shortened construction periods. Its weight is about one-fifth that of plywood formwork, making it lightweight. It can also be processed with tools like cutters, enhancing workability and reducing the burden on craftsmen. It has passed the gas toxicity test specified in "Ministry of Construction Notification No. 1231, Article 41" conducted by the Building Materials Testing Center.
