The "J-Credit System" is a program in which the government certifies the amount of CO2 emissions reduced through the introduction of energy-saving equipment and the use of renewable energy, as well as the amount of CO2 absorbed through proper forest management, as "credits." By purchasing credits, a company can consider the carbon dioxide it has emitted as reduced by the amount it has offset. Our company is developing a project that promotes sustainable forest management, called the "Nakae Forest: A Forest Project that Makes the Earth Happy." The "Nakae Forest" covers 1/6,000 of Japan's land area (a total of 6,458 hectares). We sell the CO2 absorption amount of the forest as J-VER/J-CREDIT. By purchasing J-VER/J-CREDIT (forest absorption credits), you can perform carbon offsetting. The funds obtained from the sale of J-CREDIT are used to cover part of the costs associated with forest cultivation and maintenance, contributing to the creation of sustainable forests.
