Dactronics employs a 22-bit distributed processing system in its large-screen video display products. Distributed processing is carried out across the entire display components and even at the LED module level, implementing specific image adjustments. In some applications, external video processors also become part of the distributed processing system. Our products allocate 16 bits (out of a total of 22 bits) to color processing, ensuring that additional bits are used for the aforementioned image adjustment tasks, so image quality is not compromised at any dimming level.

On May 2, 2022, continuing a long-standing relationship, Real Madrid and Dactronics announced a global, multi-year partnership agreement. Dactronics, in collaboration with its installation and service partner Legaz Arquitectura e Ingenieria, will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and installation of a new LED halo display system at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the center of Madrid, Spain. This project will involve the installation of over 3,700 square meters of LED displays, with installation planned throughout the 2022 calendar year.

December 15, 2023 - Daktronics (NASDAQ-DAKT) from Brookings, South Dakota, which is renovating and replacing its previous facilities in Detroit, Michigan, has partnered again with the Detroit Tigers to install the second-largest main video display in Major League Baseball at Comerica Park. Ahead of the 2024 baseball season, five more displays are scheduled to be installed along the fence, dugout, and line score positions.

On December 12, 2023, Dactronics partnered with Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi to manufacture and install three LED displays that will provide race fans with a new visual experience. The new halo, podium, and cooldown room displays were delivered in 2023 ahead of major racing events that concluded this fall.
