Our company manufactures the guiding board "Palm Line" and the tip of the white cane "Palm Chip." For over 20 years, we have been developing technologies to assist visually impaired individuals in their autonomous mobility. The "Palm Chip," which makes the white cane easier to use, is utilized by many individuals. In the current environment, the use of tactile paving has made it easier for visually impaired individuals to go out, but it has not been widely adopted indoors, leaving room for development. In particular, restrooms present a situation where individuals must navigate by touch, and tactile paving that can be used in restrooms is desired. The "Palm Line" is a guiding board that has evolved from tactile paving, consisting of a single row. PL1 is ideal for restrooms, and its adoption in public restrooms is anticipated.
