Camerium Company Profile
Camerium provides application development related to optical devices and various services.
"Contributing to Society through Light Simulation" Our representative director, Ritsuo Suzuki, has been developing evaluation software for imaging optical systems such as eyeglass real image simulators and digital cameras, as well as image processing software for interferometers, based on ray tracing technology since the early 2000s when he joined our parent company, Best Media Inc. He has supported various companies through these developments. Building on the technology cultivated there, we developed and sold "Lighting Simulator CAD" and provided various optical services. In October 2021, to enhance branding in the optical industry and attract specialized talent, we split from Best Media Inc. and established Camerium Inc. "Camerium" is a coined term derived from "Microscopium" and "Telescopium," symbolizing our aspiration to shine in the optical industry, akin to the "Camera" constellation.

Business Activities
"Sales of the 'Lighting Simulator' Series": With easy operation and high precision, the software "Lighting Simulator CAD" evaluates the design performance of optical systems for lighting, making it the ideal simulation software for performance evaluation of various modern lighting devices utilizing LEDs and more. The interface has been revamped to enhance usability, and significant improvements have been made in functionality, including handling free-form surfaces through CAD data import and non-sequential ray tracing. "Contract Development of Evaluation and Image Processing Software for the Optical Industry": From lighting to glasses, cameras, and interferometers, we develop software by applying a wealth of original modules cultivated through contract software development for various optical systems. "Various Contract Services in the Optical Field (Analysis, Measurement, etc.)": - Scattering measurements of optical materials using a goniophotometer - Spectral transmittance and reflectance measurements of optical materials using a UV-visible near-infrared photometer - Conducting lighting and optical simulations using "Lighting Simulator CAD" on behalf of customers.
