Moving data from old to new PCs is truly a challenging task. Our company has always struggled with it. After various trials and errors, we developed software that allows us to perform this task more efficiently. I feel that it has become much easier compared to the simple "copy-paste" of data folders. PCBackup allows you to specify the source folder and destination folder on the main screen, and when you click "Execute," it generates a command batch file for the copy command (Xcopy or Robocopy) and executes it. This method not only speeds up the execution of the copy compared to simple "folder copy-paste," but more importantly, it enables "differential copying" (copying only new or updated files). Therefore, it is possible to copy a little bit every day. The results of the copy are recorded in a log file, making it easy to verify the results. Additionally, the copy conditions can be saved for reuse. By registering the executable file of the copy command in the task scheduler, it can also be utilized for "daily automatic backups." 【Note】PCBackup is not an image backup (clone) software.
