The Tokai Technology Center, a general incorporated foundation, conducts "recycling material tests" on recycled subbase materials, recycled subgrade materials, and improved soil from construction sludge. Recycling materials are products regenerated from discarded items such as construction by-products and sewage contamination, and their use is being promoted mainly in the construction sector for public works. At the Tokai Technical Center, we conduct "analysis of harmful substances in coatings." When stripping coatings, we carry out "content analysis" to assess the impact on the health of workers and to prevent the dispersion into the surrounding environment. We also perform "PCB analysis" and "leaching analysis" to confirm whether the discarded coatings contain PCB contaminants or are classified as specially controlled industrial waste. The importance of concrete diagnostic services is increasing daily to maintain the required performance such as structural strength, durability, and waterproofing of structures. At our center, experienced engineers visit the site to conduct on-site investigations, including visual inspections and non-destructive testing, and, if necessary, perform sampling and laboratory tests. We provide practical investigations, cause estimation, evaluation, determination of the necessity for repairs and reinforcements, and propose methods for repairs and reinforcements regarding the identified issues in the concrete structures. At the Tokai Technical Center, we conduct various quality tests on construction materials used in architecture and civil engineering, including tests for concrete, tensile tests for steel, aggregate tests, soil tests, and chemical analyses. After the construction of new buildings or renovations, volatile chemical substances emitted from building materials and interior materials can cause health problems, commonly known as sick house syndrome, leading to ongoing issues. At TTC, we conduct "measurements of substances causing sick house syndrome." At the Tokai Technical Center, we conduct "asbestos surveys and analyses." We provide highly reliable results based on many years of experience and achievements. We handle everything from written surveys of building materials used in facilities and buildings to on-site inspections, sample collection, analysis of the presence and quantity of asbestos (asbestosis), and reporting.
