ELSONA is a generator that can run on both LP gas and gasoline, born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake. During the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we donated 14 units of the generator "GD1600SR," which were utilized as charging stations and power sources for lighting in evacuation centers. Additionally, we have initiatives such as the "Power Generation Station," which supplies electricity to nearby residents during disasters, and "1.5 for the future," where approximately 1.5% of generator sales are donated to a nonprofit organization that supports the introduction of renewable energy. These activities have been recognized, and we received the Grand Prize at the "Japan Resilience Award 2025." A significant feature of ELSONA is its ability to generate power not only from gasoline but also from LP gas. Compared to gasoline, which is difficult to obtain during disasters, LP gas is easier to access as a decentralized energy source and is effective as an emergency fuel. This high level of convenience has led to its adoption at Fujita Medical University, one of Japan's largest university hospitals, specifically at their disaster prevention education center. (※ Delivery examples are currently available.) ※ A new model "GT8500TR" is scheduled to be released soon! The flyer is being exclusively unveiled on Ipros! ※ For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationSecuring power during disasters is a lifeline for supporting affected areas. Recently, Mr. Wakatsuki from the Disaster Prevention Education Center at Fujita Medical University (Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture) has introduced our generator "ELSONA." Fujita Medical University Hospital, located on the same premises as the university, is one of the largest university hospitals in Japan (1,376 beds) and has been designated as a "core disaster response hospital" in Aichi Prefecture. It is strengthening its BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures in preparation for large-scale disasters such as the Nankai Trough earthquake. In an interview, based on his real experiences supporting evacuation centers during the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, he shared the background of introducing the highly practical ELSONA generator, which can operate on both "LP gas" and "gasoline," as well as details about communication training conducted using the generator. Please take a look.

Free membership registrationOn the front page of the "Propane Newspaper" dated October 28, 2024, it was featured that we are promoting "disaster-resistant LP gas" through our participation in the Crisis Management Industry Exhibition, as well as our generator Elsona, which can run on both LP gas and gasoline, and our efforts to support the disaster-stricken areas following the Noto Peninsula earthquake. As part of our support for the affected areas, G&ECO donated 14 Elsona generators to Suzu City and Noto Town. In the immediate aftermath of the disaster, when there was a shortage of gasoline, these generators played a crucial role in charging smartphones. Currently, they are being used as a power source for electric tools in road restoration work.

Free membership registrationHere is a case study of a delivery made to the headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo. It was introduced as a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measure for the headquarters office. During a power outage, the 'S-5500' is connected to the distribution board to supply power to the 1st and 2nd floors. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Location: Headquarters of a construction company in Mitaka City, Tokyo ■ Model Number: S-5500 ■ Purpose: BCP measures for the headquarters office The "ELSONA generator" was born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." In disaster-stricken areas, gasoline stations themselves may have been affected, and there are purchase limits of up to 10 liters per person, making it difficult to obtain "gasoline." In contrast, "LP gas," which is used in daily life, is a decentralized energy source, stored in easily transportable cylinders, and has many advantages, including resilience to disasters. During the support for the disaster area affected by the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," the ability to generate power using not only "gasoline" but also "LP gas" was greatly appreciated by the people in the affected areas. To prepare for power outages during disasters, we maintain the generator in a state ready for immediate activation through regular trial runs. 【Case Overview】 ■ Delivery Location: Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture The "ELSONA" is a generator that can use both "LP gas" and "gasoline," developed from the experiences of the Great East Japan Earthquake. It has been introduced in over 2,000 units, primarily in municipalities across the country, and is chosen by disaster prevention professionals as a professional-use generator. It is actively used in various locations, including evacuation centers, businesses, factories, welfare facilities, hospitals, gas stations, and broadcasting stations. During the support for the affected areas of the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," it was greatly appreciated by the affected people for its ability to generate power using not only gasoline but also LP gas. We encourage you to consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where one unit of the "S-5500" was delivered to Niyodo Hospital in Ino City, Kochi Prefecture. This hospital serves as a disaster base hospital and has adopted this as a disaster measure to accept patients who are ill or injured during emergencies. Currently, a large generator has already been installed as an emergency power source, and it is said to be used for lighting such as floodlights. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Niyodo Hospital, Kochi Prefecture ■ Delivered Product: 1 unit of S-5500 The "ELSONA Generator" was developed from the experiences of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." Free membership registrationWe delivered "LP Gas & Gasoline Generators (ELSONA)" to Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture. The Eiheiji Town Life Safety Office recognizes the necessity of securing power during disasters and has introduced one unit each to six facilities. There are plans to continue introducing them at various locations in the future. Gasoline-powered generators are subject to gasoline degradation, making maintenance and storage difficult. However, the hybrid generator that uses both "LP Gas" and "Gasoline" has been appealing because it can complement the advantages of both fuels. [Case Overview] ■ Delivery Location: Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture (kindergartens, elementary schools, welfare facilities, etc.) ■ Number of Units Delivered: 6 The "ELSONA Generator" was born from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two fuels: "LP Gas" and "Gasoline." "LP Gas" is a decentralized energy source that can be stored long-term and has many advantages, including resilience to disasters. In the support for the affected areas of the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake in Reiwa Year 6," the ability to generate power using not only "Gasoline" but also "LP Gas" was greatly appreciated by the affected residents. Please consider it as an emergency power source. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where 15 units of the "ELSONA S-5500" were delivered to Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture. Previously, a 900VA generator was used, but upon verifying the power consumption at the evacuation center, it was newly discovered that the 900VA generator could not withstand the inrush power of the equipment being used, which led to the introduction of the ELSONA. The ability to use not only "gasoline" but also "LP gas," as well as its hybrid nature, were key factors in the purchasing decision. Free membership registrationAs part of our BCP measures, we would like to introduce a case where we delivered one unit of the "Elsona S-5500" and seven 20-kilogram LP gas cylinders to a construction company. The delivery location was the rooftop, and a new warehouse capable of housing the Elsona and LP gas was also installed. In case of an emergency, we centralized the outlets in one location so that power can be supplied smoothly from the generator by connecting the outlets to the Elsona. [Case Overview] - Delivery Destination: Construction Company - Delivered Products: 1 unit of S-5500, 7 units of LP gas (20-kilogram cylinders) The "ELSONA generator" was developed from the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake and can use two types of fuel: "LP gas" and "gasoline." Free membership registrationOn February 5, 2024, the "Weekly Building Management" featured a significant article on the "Disaster Prevention Special" focusing on lessons learned from large-scale earthquakes, highlighting the "Bousai Power Generation BOX." According to a survey conducted by Askul in August 2022 on "Awareness, Preparation, and Measures for Disaster Prevention in the Workplace," while only 18.2% of offices stockpile "emergency generators," a higher percentage of 38.1% indicated they would like to stockpile such items if they had decision-making authority. Additionally, the second most common reason for not having disaster supplies was "lack of storage space," cited by 38.1% of respondents. The "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which specializes in power supply and combines storage space, was developed based on these needs. It can also serve a role in "community contribution" by providing power supply during disasters to local residents, alongside the company's own "power outage measures." Since its release, the "Bousai Power Generation BOX" has received positive feedback and numerous inquiries. We encourage anyone considering disaster prevention measures to feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationG&ECO Co., Ltd., Nagata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and Resilience Lab Co., Ltd. have launched the "Bousai Power Generation BOX," which combines a generator, storage battery, and solar panel. This product not only serves our own "power outage measures" but also acts as a "community disaster charging station," allowing us to contribute to the region by providing power supply during disasters. The "Noto Peninsula Earthquake of Reiwa Year 6," which struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024, caused significant damage. Our company has been engaged in support activities, albeit modestly, by providing generators in collaboration with local governments in the affected areas. With various supplies in short supply, roads have been cut off in many places, and recovery from power outages is taking time. Moreover, we have witnessed cases where generators are unable to operate due to a lack of fuel, even though they are available and gasoline-powered. The limited passable roads are not only routes for supplies but also for emergency vehicles, making the supply of relief goods challenging. This has reinforced the importance of being prepared in advance. We would be very pleased if we could contribute to the safety and security of your daily life through everyday preparedness. We encourage companies that have not yet implemented their own power outage measures, as well as apartment complexes and regional hubs such as roadside stations, to consider this.

Checking the expiration dates of the emergency food you have stored is also a part of "disaster preparedness."
