What is the IT Implementation Subsidy? The IT Implementation Subsidy supports small and medium-sized enterprises and small businesses by subsidizing a portion of the costs for implementing IT tools that meet their specific challenges and needs, thereby helping to improve operational efficiency and increase sales. In addition to the usual categories (A and B cumulative), a new Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation category (Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation type and Collaborative IT type for multiple companies) has been added in the supplementary budget for fiscal year 2021. Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation Type The subsidy that can be used for building your own e-commerce site falls under the Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation category (Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation cumulative type). It supports the digitalization of inter-company transactions in anticipation of the invoice system. Point 1 Subsidy amount: Over 500,000 yen to 3,500,000 yen (subsidy rate 2/3) Compared to the usual category, which has a subsidy amount of 1/2, the Digitalization Infrastructure Implementation category offers a maximum subsidy of 3,500,000 yen. Point 2 Purchase costs for hardware such as PCs and tablets are also eligible for subsidies. Point 3 Subsidies are specifically targeted at accounting software, order management software, payment software, and e-commerce software. You need to combine two or more of the above software. Point 4 Cloud usage fees are subsidized for up to 2 years.
