We are pleased to announce that the new factory building and office building at the Suo Factory located in the Suo Industrial Park, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture, have been completed, and the reorganization of all our business bases has been finalized as follows. 1. Overview of the Business Base Reorganization Until now, we have operated our business at three locations: the headquarters and Asaekō Factory, the Shimada Factory, and the Suo Factory. We have consolidated the packaging material-related operations previously conducted at the Shimada Factory into the Suo Factory, with some operations moving to the headquarters and Asaekō Factory. Consequently, we have closed the Shimada Factory. Through this reorganization, we aim to create an environment where a diverse workforce, regardless of age or gender, can work safely and securely, while also building an efficient and flexible production system and further improving our quality management standards. 2. Details of the Base Reorganization (Chronological Order) September 2024: Completion of Building C of the new factory at Suo Factory, transfer of equipment from Shimada Factory. October 2024: Completion of the new office building at Suo Factory. End of October 2024: Closure of the Shimada Factory. November 2024: Completion of all construction related to the new factory and office buildings at Suo Factory.
