We are engaged in projects that contribute to a decarbonized society through the supply of domestically produced wood biomass electricity, forest management, and energy conservation support.
F-on Co., Ltd. is a pioneer in wood biomass power generation in Japan. All of the biomass power plants operated at four locations in the country use 100% domestically produced wood chips as fuel and are certified under the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) system. With the desire to directly deliver domestically generated renewable energy produced by our group to consumers, we launched our electricity retail business in August 2020. Corporations considering the introduction of renewable energy are welcome to contact us.
Business Activities
■ Biomass power generation using 100% domestically produced wood chips as fuel. No imported fuels or pellets are used at all. ■ Retail of biomass electricity generated by our own group (new power supply). ■ Forest management aimed at the revitalization of Japan's forestry. Our group owns approximately 3,000 hectares of forest land. We employ forestry workers (loggers) as full-time employees and cultivate human resources in the forestry sector. ■ Energy-saving support services.
