This is a new type of passive sensor that features twin-type elements (newly developed) in each unit. The area formed by the three sets of optical units significantly reduces false alarms and malfunctions due to its unique layout design. Additionally, the design resembles an outdoor light, and the internal structure allows for area adjustment (movable mirrors), making it difficult to infer the direction of the area from the appearance, thus enhancing security. ■Reduction of malfunctions caused by small animals By adopting independent detection units for each mirror, signal processing reduces malfunctions caused by small animals such as cats. Furthermore, by using the pet mode (only for three-dimensional vigilance type), it becomes possible to cancel out medium-sized dogs (approximately 50 cm in height), allowing for operation in homes with pets. Additionally, by attaching a bird stopper to the top, it becomes less likely for birds to perch, significantly reducing unexpected malfunctions.
