High-speed, low-temperature, direct film formation technology of graphene - Applications to solar cells and batteries -
In 2013, Masayoshi Umeno (currently Director of Research and Development) and Tetsuo Soga (currently Director), both of whom are professors at Nagoya Institute of Technology, established the company as founders. In March 2017, it became the sixth venture originating from Nagoya Institute of Technology and is also a venture from Chubu University. On February 13, 2020, it received the Nagoya City Industrial Research Institute Director's Award at the 2019 Nagoya City Industrial Technology Grand Prix for the title "High-Speed, Low-Temperature, Direct Deposition Technology for Graphene - Applications to Solar Cells and Batteries." The company independently developed a technology that allows for the direct deposition of graphene rather than transferring it. Using this technology, it started a contract business for the direct deposition of graphene.
Business Activities
Our company, led by Masayoshi Umeno, an honorary professor at Nagoya Institute of Technology who has long been engaged in semiconductor research, has initiated the following projects aimed at developing more affordable and high-performance graphene products. This comes in light of the attention garnered by graphene following the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics. Utilizing his own CVD method and leveraging the experience and connections cultivated at Nagoya Institute of Technology and Chubu University, we are focusing on: 1. Research, development, manufacturing, and sales of electronic and optical materials such as graphene. 2. Research, development, manufacturing, and sales of innovative batteries using graphene. 3. Consulting services related to various research and development activities. 4. Planning, drafting, and hosting of various lectures, training sessions, seminars, etc., as well as dispatching lecturers. 5. All operations related to the above items.
