The Rock Bonding DK Bond Method integrates floating rocks with the bedrock by filling, sealing, and bonding the cracks and openings in the rock mass with DK Bond Mortar, thereby preventing rock falls.
The construction method of this technique closes cracks and openings to prevent loosening of the rock due to weathering, while also dispersing concentrated stress in the area. It exhibits excellent durability against repeated loads such as earthquakes and demonstrates a high rockfall prevention effect. When applying this method, its features include: 1. It can be applied to large rocks and high-altitude rocks that have high potential in mountain slopes and similar areas. 2. It can fix natural rock formations in their current state, and the construction traces harmonize with the landscape, making it particularly effective for use in natural parks and scenic areas. 3. Since there are no alterations to the natural features or new structures, and the construction equipment is minimal, it can be easily combined with other methods.
Business Activities
As a method of operating the rock adhesive DK Bond method founded by Daini Construction Co., Ltd., there was an initial consideration to expand construction achievements directly during the early development stage. However, we have aimed to develop our business by adopting a format of exclusive dealerships scattered across the region. As one of the activities to support this development, we decided to establish the General Incorporated Association, the National Rockfall Disaster Prevention Association. In other words, the National Rockfall Disaster Prevention Association (General Incorporated Association) aims to promote mutual friendship and solidarity among the exclusive dealerships of the rock adhesive DK Bond method, striving for a parallel expansion in the national market, while ensuring that member companies do not interfere with each other's management principles.
