We are an optical manufacturer with a history of over 110 years, originating from the Sugita Glass Instrument Store founded by Fujitaro Sugita in 1906 (Meiji 39). Since our founding, our core expertise has been rooted in the research and manufacturing of glass, supplying a wide range of high-quality glass products to diverse industries. In 1982, the company was renamed Sugito Co., Ltd. to support further business expansion. Since then, we have been engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and sales of optical elements such as lenses and prisms, special-purpose lenses, and glass products including magnifying glasses. Our product portfolio also includes optical instruments and components such as macro zoom lenses, microscopes, various types of scopes, and inspection equipment. To further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, we established a production facility in Thailand in 1993. This facility enhances our integrated production system for glass products and lenses, covering key processes such as polishing, cementing, and optical coating. We maintain a standard inventory of optical elements and lens systems, enabling sales from a single unit.
