This document discusses the weight reduction of aluminum plates reinforced with CFRP materials using the "simple bonding method." By adhering CFRP materials to thinner substrates than conventional aluminum materials, it is possible to achieve the same strength as the original material while further reducing weight. "FW180701" is an aluminum primer that eliminates the need for chemical conversion treatment, which has been considered a standard in aluminum surface treatment. Unlike wash (etching) primers and epoxy primers, it does not require specific conditions of the substrate. It can be easily top-coated by simply spraying it onto patched surfaces or raw aluminum.
