Business Activities

As a department that questions the long-standing research and development achievements of our company’s research institute, we began our activities in 2001. In the Bio Division, we manufacture and sell products such as collagen and gelatin for medical applications, life science research reagents, cell culture substrates, veterinary in vitro diagnostic pharmaceuticals like the "BSE test kit," and crushing devices like the "Bio Masher." In recent years, as part of our regenerative medicine-related business, we have developed and manufactured the "iMatrix" series of human laminin protein fragments, which serve as substrates for cell culture and are widely used both domestically and internationally for the culture of stem cells, including ES/iPS cells, and various other cells. In the Chemical Division, we handle chemical products centered around our uniquely developed chemically cross-linked PVC, including compounds for wire insulation, masking films, and flooring welding rods. We will continue to aim for the development of product markets that will support the future.
