The wooden parts are made by another company, but the specifications of the gate itself and various components are our products. We have also been responsible for the installation. Speaking of Kenrokuen, the winter "yukitsuri" is famous. Our gate is strong against snowfall, which is said to be one of the reasons for its adoption.

"Safety," "lightness," and "robustness" are the features of our products. The first gate we delivered was also to an electric power company. The "Hashimoto-style" non-rail design has been cherished by companies that prioritize safety for many years.

Our company’s gates have been used in places where people gather and in crowded areas. This main gate is also a Hashimoto-style non-rail gate. Even in crowded places, there are no steps or obstacles to trip over. It contributes to facilities that are friendly to children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

Since our establishment in 1973, we have not received any reports of tipping accidents. *The photo shows Kanazawa Izumigaoka High School in Ishikawa Prefecture (constructed in 1982): The school's gate has been operated maintenance-free since its installation.* Features: ■ Barrier-free with no unevenness at the opening ■ Smooth opening and closing ■ Designed to withstand dust and snow accumulation ■ Robust image ensuring safety ■ Effective in preventing unauthorized entry by outsiders as a security measure

In fact, similar to the neighboring "Science Hills Komatsu," our company's large gates have also been adopted here. The adjacent Hokuriku Shinkansen is being extended to Tsuruga Station, and Komatsu Station is currently undergoing renovations. Next to the station, "Komatsu no Mori" features a delightful plaza primarily for children, which includes areas such as the "Komatsu Mini Excavator Experience Zone," "Kabuto Mushi Hall (Ogawa Zone: where insects and birds can be observed)," "Mushroom Forest (a space for observing trees and flowers found in satoyama)," and "Rice Fields and Farms (a space for rice planting, harvesting, and vegetable picking)," all filled with nature. Alongside, there are facilities that showcase the history of Komatsu Ltd. and the company's training center. It is a very bright and open "urban facility around the station" for the citizens. In fact, five of our Hashimoto-style gates have been installed at this facility and the training center. One gate is not operational due to the construction of the new Shinkansen station at JR Komatsu Station, but the three gates at the main entrance are opened and closed daily.

This time, we interviewed the deputy director about the usage of our large gate. It is opened and closed daily during the opening hours. The gate is used not only at the main entrance but also at the parking lot and for the shuttle vehicle gate. Additionally, Science Hills Komatsu received the BCS Award in 2015. The "BCS Award" recognizes that creating excellent buildings requires not only design but also construction techniques, and that understanding and cooperation among the owner, designer, and contractor are essential for such structures. Each year, 15 to 17 projects are selected from across the country to receive this award. The honorary director is Leiji Matsumoto, known for Galaxy Express 999, making this facility popular among children as well.

From the entrance to the interior of the museum, it feels like a maze (labyrinth). A museum that invites you to the path of philosophy. "It is necessary to wander and think, and to think for oneself." On September 12, 2019, the local newspaper "Hokkokushinbun" reported with photos on the nighttime illumination created by one of Japan's leading lighting designers, who also worked on the Tokyo Skytree. As part of the national regional revitalization policy, the National Museum of Modern Art, Crafts Gallery in Tokyo was relocated to Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture (Hondanomori Park) and opened in October 2020. Ishikawa Prefecture is home to many traditional industries, and Kanazawa City has developed into an internationally popular tourist destination where visitors can experience a diverse culture. Additionally, there are nine living national treasures in the important intangible cultural asset and craft technique category in Ishikawa Prefecture (as of March 2020), which is recognized locally as having the highest number per capita in the country, highlighting the region's cultural and craft foundation. We take pride in the fact that our gate has been adopted in such a historically significant building and a facility of cultural authority.

As the main gate of the university campus located in the western part of Toyama City, it opens and closes every day. Even in areas with heavy snowfall, it has been used with almost no maintenance.
