"JFE EcoGal" is a galvanized steel sheet that improves corrosion resistance and aging discoloration by adding trace amounts of magnesium (Mg) and nickel (Ni) to a molten zinc-5% aluminum alloy coating (commonly known as Galfan), in compliance with the JIS G 3317 standard. By using a small amount of magnesium (Mg), it achieves equivalent weldability and softness of the coating layer to molten zinc coating (GI) and conventional Galfan (GF).
