In 2020, the spread of the novel coronavirus led to a significant decrease in the number of users at many commercial facilities. Even now, employees are manually measuring the body temperature of each customer to ensure they can enjoy their visit with a sense of safety. However, securing the necessary manpower and the labor costs associated with these measures have created a difficult situation. To address this issue, we have installed a "thermal camera" at the entrance of the hot spring facility, which specializes in measuring human surface temperature. This system automatically measures the body temperature of visitors and detects and warns of any customers who may have a fever in advance. By consolidating information about visitors' body temperatures and the congestion levels at the dining area on the second floor, the front staff can manage personnel allocation according to real-time conditions, achieving improvements in the work environment and reductions in labor costs beyond what was previously possible. We would like to introduce a case where we implemented HP and addressed challenges and requests. For the challenge of "using FLET'S VPN Wide in the existing environment, but the VPN speed is abnormally slow, causing disruptions to business," we implemented a VPN that utilizes IPv6 addresses with NGN network internal loopback. The ping delay during latency occurrences improved from 1000 msec to about 10 msec. For the request of "using the same network address across all locations, but wanting to avoid changing IP addresses as much as possible," we achieved an environment where the same network address can be used even if the locations are different by implementing Ether IP. We also implemented a semi-fixed IPv6 address that can be tracked with DDNS. Initially, MAC address authentication was being considered for about 120 access points (APs). However, it is anticipated that the number of smartphones will eventually be around 300. If we adhere to this basic design philosophy, whenever there are changes to the MAC addresses due to adding smartphones or replacing faulty ones, it would necessitate the addition and modification of MAC addresses across all APs. Therefore, we propose using an L3 switch as the authentication server. This allows us to create an environment where, even when there are changes to MAC addresses, configuration changes can be completed with just one L3 switch.
