In nursing facilities, day services, nursing homes, and hospitals, many rely on manual lifting and transferring as a means to move users. This places a significant burden on caregivers, often leading to issues such as back pain, and it is not uncommon for them to take leave or resign. As we move toward an aging society, the shortage of caregivers has become a serious issue. In response, we have devised "ONBU," a system and function that appears to be the world's first alternative to manual lifting and transferring. (International patent obtained) With this single device, it enables mutual transfers from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, and wheelchair to car, among others.
