Since its establishment as a textile manufacturer in 1923 (Taisho 12) in Fukushima Prefecture, the Nitto Boseki Group has accumulated and inherited technology and knowledge over many years, including the industrialization of Japan's first fiberglass in 1938 and the industrialization of the functional polymer "PAA(R)." Currently, the group is widely expanding its business both domestically and internationally, centered around three core businesses: "Textile Business," "Fiberglass Business," and "Life Science Business."
